Huge Effort. Amazing Support. Thank You!

Huge Effort. Amazing Support. Thank You!

Four amazing people ran the London Marathon for us last Sunday.

Cathy Andrews, Helen Fish, Sarah Dagnall and Caroline Clarke-Williams completed the gruelling course and have our immense respect and gratitude.

This gang of ‘superwomen’ has raised £8,137.41 so far… wow!!!!!

Cathy said: “I am so ecstatic that I managed to complete the Marathon as well as raise beyond my pledge for the amazing people that visit the centre. It was the most amazing experience, such great support from the crowds and the marshalls. My highlights include running over Tower Bridge, overtaking a Rhino, being overtaken by Big Bird and seeing friends (some with food) on route.”

Caroline felt privileged to run for The Hertfordshire MS Therapy Centre. She said: “The London Marathon was a lifetime experience one that I will never forget! The support was incredible and much needed as it was tough at times! I managed a time of 4 hours 27 minutes 36 seconds which I am so pleased with. Thank you again for the opportunity to run for the charity it was amazing!”

Sarah added: “I found the experience very humbling and it was great to be with all the other charity runners. It felt amazing to be helping a small charity as I feel they need our support more than the larger ones that everyone knows. I recommend running for the MS Therapy Centre as the support has been amazing and the running vests were sooo comfy!!”

We’d also like to say thank you to these wonderful ladies and to Team HMSTC’s support group, including Zoe Godfrey who ran for us last year. This year was much more relaxing for Zoe!
