23 Feb FREE ‘Love To Move’ Classes
These classes start soon!
Some of you will know that Bridget Poulter has been a friend of the Centre for several years. She has volunteered with us often and is a registered dance therapist. She has good experience working with people with serious medical conditions including Multiple Sclerosis. Bridget is offering online classes on Zoom for the ‘Love To Move’ programme – and it’s all free!
‘Love To Move’ is a unique mix of gentle chair-based movements to music, mixed with some specific exercises designed to maintain fine motor skills along with activities stimulating cognitive processes, ending with some relaxation. Developed by the British Gymnastics Foundation, Love To Move is being trialled with different client groups and these sessions are part of a larger pilot to assess the impact of the programme on people living with MS and other neurological conditions.
No previous experience is needed. All you need is a computer/tablet to access Zoom, as the class is interactive, providing a great opportunity for connecting with others as well as being good for body and soul and it’s fun.
Bridget introduces ‘Love to Move’ classes in her video here.
