09 Sep National Spotlight on Letchworth Charity
The entire team of a national Multiple Sclerosis charity visited Herts MS Therapy Centre last week. A group of 17 people from MS-UK arrived in Letchworth to see the range of therapies offered and how the charity works.
MS-UK are one of the key Multiple Sclerosis charities in the country. There are over 50 MS Therapy Centres across the UK. They chose to visit Letchworth. The local Centre has developed an enviable reputation for innovation, welcoming people with any long term or neurological condition. Plus, it embraces new, proven therapies that may help those individuals. These strengths have placed it on the national map!
The Centre is the only place in Hertfordshire offering Oxygen Therapy, which helps some people heal faster and feel more energised.
APS Pain Reduction Therapy is also available. The MS-UK team found out about the therapies provided, saw the fully equipped gym and some even tested APS Pain Reduction Therapy themselves. They particularly enjoyed talking to the Letchworth team about how these services have helped many people… sometimes with life-changing results.
“It makes sense to swap notes with other MS charities,” said Mark Boscher, Chief Executive of Herts MS Therapy Centre. “We were delighted to welcome the MS-UK team and learn more about their magazine New Pathways and their excellent helpline. We will explore opportunities to work together to help even more people.”
The Centre is currently offering free test sessions of Oxygen Treatment and APS Pain Reduction Therapy. You or someone you know has chronic pain or fatigue, can contact Claire on 01462 684214 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
