Five Star Trophies won a trophy of their own by winning the annual Herts MS Therapy Centre’s charity golf day at a sunny Stocks, Aldbury on October 4.
The Potten End-based company’s non-playing captain Ross Kemp first claimed the silver punch bowl in 2009 but brother Neil, Adam Bass, Sean Kelleher and Harley Ross (pictured, l – r) won the team prize this time round with an impressive 98 points.
Adam had a day to remember by also winning the nearest-the-pin prize when his tee shot at the 12th ended up a foot from the flag. Last year’s winners Los Lobos Banditos were runners-up with The John Selwyn Appreciation Society third. Piers Connolly’s 300 yard tee-shot at the 17th won the longest drive prize.
An after-lunch auction and raffle helped raise an amazing £1,500 for our charity – thank you!
