Local Runners Make London Marathon History!

Three amazing people ran last Sunday’s London marathon for a local Letchworth charity, The Herts MS Therapy Centre.

Danny Adams, Hannah Gray and Ruth Walker completed the famous 26.2-mile course around the sights of London. They helped to make history!  With a record 38,020 starters,this year’s event was the biggest ever London marathon

Their achievement offers a huge boost to the charity thanks to the sponsorship and awareness they have raised. “We are so grateful for their hard work and support,” said Patricia Saunders, the charity’s Community Fundraiser.She adds: “Danny Adams completed the race in an impressive 4hrs, 11mins. Hannah Gray has raised a massive £2,500 for us and this was Ruth Walker’s second London marathon run for us.”

“There was a fantastic atmosphere on the day and thankfully the weather was much better than forecast – it stayed dry!” says Patricia.

“We also appreciate the exhausting determination that goes into preparing for a marathon. The training is time-consuming and a physical challenge in itself. We are immensely proud of our team and grateful for their help.”
